Canon 10-22mm Review: a Quality Ultra Wide Angle Lens

Although according to a Canon 10-22mm Review, the lens was already released in 2004, it still remains an excellent wide angle lens for digital SLRs in the beginner and amateur classes. Mid-range digital SLR models from Canon up until then didn’t even have a wide-angle lens option. This lens is however only compatible to Canon cameras with the EF-S mount, such as the EOS 350D, EOS 300 D, Rebel XT/XTi, EOS 400 D, EOS 30D and EOS 20D. This lens will not work correctly with the full-frame digital or film SLRs. If you use this lens on the right camera body, you will get a focal range of about 16 to 35mm. This is the standard range of most classic ultra-wide angle lenses, which was popular even with the older film cameras. Landscape, architectural and indoor photographers are the people who are most likely to appreciate the capabilities of this lens. Back when it was released, the Canon was also the lightest and smallest lens in this class.
